It has been unseasonably warm this winter, however, we still think that we can get you ice fishing with your grandkids. Now, you won’t have to leave the comfort of your warm kitchen and it is probably more of a science experiment than an outdoor adventure, but in the end, you and the kids will have a blast!

WHAT YOU NEED
- Water
- Yarn
- Ice cubes
- Salt
- Shallow pan
WHAT YOU DO?
- Cut your yarn to about six inches
- Fill your shallow pan with cold water
- Add ice cubes
- Have your grandchild place their yarn on top of an ice cube. Sprinkle salt on top of the yarn and wait a few seconds.
- Lift up the yarn. What happened???
