There is something about banana bread that just makes people happy. Throw in a couple of chocolate chips and everything just gets better. Check out this amazing recipe by one of our favourite chefs, Caroline Davis.

WHAT YOU NEED
- 3 Bananas, very ripe, peeled and cut into chunks
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup oil
- 2 large eggs
- 2 TSP vanilla
- 1 2/3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 TSP baking powder
- ¼ TSP baking soda
- ½ TSP salt
- ¾ cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350
Step 1: In Large Bowl, mash bananas, add sugar, oil, vanilla and eggs and
mix very well
Step 2: In Medium Bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
Step 3: Add flour mixture (from step 2) to banana mixture (from step 1). Stir until blended well
Step 4: Add chocolate chips. Combine until evenly distributed
Step 5: Grease pan. Pour in batter
Step 6: Bake for roughly 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean (or with a few dry crumbs on it) when inserted into the center of the loaf. Let cool before serving
